Fred Strong

Fred Strong was a tenor from Victoria who sang Gospel songs by invitation at different churches around Victoria. He also toured South Australia assisted by Lawrence Hughes who played organ, and Ian Hughes who played piano. The music was trad Gospel with anthem style melodies and Fred had a rich voice that needed no amplification!

The trio were introduced to Good*God by Rex Stacey from SONOREX, and this album was recorded in 1980. The additional players in the recording were Dave Jackson who played bass, Ray Shepherd who played drums, and Peter Farley who played electric guitar.
